Indications :
It is used to treat single and mixed infections caused by anaerobic organisms with suspected or proven resistance to common antimicrobial agents, though susceptible to Ceftazidime. Also, for the treatment of pseudomonal infections in place of aminoglycosides in patient where such first line drugs might be contraindicated.
